So inspired by beautiful Color Affections on Rav and in the wild, I ripped mine out, and have started something entirely different with the yarn.

I’m doing stripes of different widths (there must be a good way to describe this…0-12, 2-10, 4-8, 6-6, 8-4, 10-2, 12-0, 2-10, etc.) in the 3 colors, and will do the little Holden lace edging with picots, I think. After all that 2-handed knitting with the fair-isle, I’m trying to keep up my left hand, so I’m doing this all continental. With that, and the kinkiness of frogged yarn, the tension leaves something to be desired, but I don’t care.

UPDATE: alas, after only a year of use, my beautiful scarf is missing, lost to the gods of airports and airplanes. Bummer, man. That was a really nice scarf. 11/24/14
