This pattern is a nice, easy knit - great for a first sweater. I’ve modified the collar, but other than that have followed the pattern closely.

This yarn is AMAZING.

I have finally picked this project back up and have only 2/3 of a sleeve to complete. I will soon be wearing this luscious sweater! Yay!

12/23/08 The sweater’s been done now for a couple of months. While I’m still very pleased with the pattern, I’m not as happy with the way the yarn wears - major pilling under the arms, and it sheds constantly. It’s terribly soft and warm, though!

05/22/10 Pilling and shedding galore. I only wear it around the house, really. This yarn has been discontinued; I wonder if that’s related to the way it wears?
