Notes

I used a knit-on cast on, forgetting how loopy and loose it ends up being. I chose it because my usual backwards loop cast on would be challenging at 204 sts on US13 needles, and no way was I in the mood for a long-tail… hopefully this edge won’t insist on rolling up for the rest of its life.

Yeah, the edge insists on rolling like a bitch. I’m going to block the poncho, and if that doesn’t help I’ll just go old-school and put fringe on it. I don’t think I’m going to do the decorative beaded tie thingy; we’ll see. The yarn I used is fuzzier than the yarn used in the pattern and since this poncho isn’t as ephemeral as that one I don’t think the beaded ties would look as good.

Blocking helped a lot.

This yarn is very loose and will probably fuzz and pill until the thing is a piece of felt.

Still, a cute and warm little item; very light and small and easy to carry around.
