12/25/12: Finished last night at 4:07 am. LOVE IT! DRAGON BUTTONS! Hardly any project notes because this is just such a wonderfully written, wonderfully thought out pattern. I love that she uses measurements instead of row count (i.e. “knit until piece measures __ inches” rather than “knit ____ rows”). Very easy quick knit. I can honestly say this is probably the only project I’ve ever completed in less than 20 days.
12/12/12; split for sleeves, easy peasy. Though I did mess up and fold the wrong flap of the collar to the front so the button holes are behind - doh! In my defense, I was knitting in the dark (LOTR marathon at a movie theater) for 12 hours and didn’t notice until it was way too late to fix. No worries, will attach button on both sides of the front flap (one for show one for function)
