Picked this up again. Too bad I couldn’t find the original pattern as I had notes on it. Ah well, I hope I get close to the first. I frogged the 2nd sock I’d stated as I had no clue where i was. I was only partway up the foot, so not to bad a place to frog. I forgot how soft this yarn is.
I just noticed I started this 9 years ago!!!!!

Finally reach shadow wrap time. Going back to my favourite shadow wrap method - https://socktopusunplugged.wordpress.com/2011/02/05/short...
Ran into an issue with the pattern maker’s abbreviations.
SSK is normally .. slip next 2 stitches knitwise, then knit together thru back loops.
But nooooo! SSK on this pattern is slip 1 stitch, knit next stitch .. then psso as in pass slip stitches over. Should’ve been Sl1K1PSSO. I was ready to frog the whole thing I was so frustrated. What makes me more irked is it was staring on the face. Stitch instructions are included w pattern.

heel turn went with issues until I wrapped my head around it and it went just fine, although I did manage to have odd turns .. sort of bugging me, but not enough to frog it back .. again.
Have 1 1/2 chart sets to complete before bind off. Hopefully, I’ll be done by the weekend. I’ve learned the hard way that if my eyes are buggy, or i’m tired, I need to stop knitting. I can’t power through these stitches.

Voila!
A needle pulled away and I had 32 live stitches just hanging there, I spent several hours dealing w dropped stitches, I hope I got them all. I guess I’ll find out
