My first one was such a success, I wanted a second!

5 May --- joined hems last night and started the stockinette body. This should keep me busy for awhile.

6 May --- added ball #2!

8 May --- well into ball #2. i’m hoping to get some good knitting done this weekend --- or at least get to ball #3.

note: i love my first Lena, and i will love my 2nd, and part of me wonders if i might like a 3rd even more oversized.

11 May --- started ball #3. This is going slower than my first because I cast on another sweater at the same gauge the same weekend. Apparently, I have this “thing” right now for sweaters knitted @ 24 sts to 4”.

19 May --- almost ready to begin the garter ridges on the back. I am well into ball #4. I should be able to finish this part through the shoulder shaping with yarn to spare.

20 May --- finally started the garter section of the back! so, all that’s left of this side is to finish the garter, set up for short row shoulders, and finish. then, on to the other side =)

23 May --- finished back and started front. Actually knitted about 2” today :)

26 May --- shoulders bound off. next steps: finished neckline and armholes, weave in ends. almost done!

28 May --- all the knitting completed. next steps: weave in ends, wash & block (which means, put in a garment bag, wash with regular laundry, then remove from garment bag and toss into dryer on a low heat until almost dry -- then hang on hanger).

31 May -- done! i didn’t have a chance to make it to the laundromat today, so i washed in the sink and it’s hanging outside to dry.
