I think I will remember this shawl as my first fully completed project. Although I’ve crocheted before, I had never blocked. But this time I knew it was time to do it with this shawl, the edging “demanded” it and I knew that the difference would be big. Little did I know! Luz-de-Luna was my guide (thank you for all the tips and the patience!) and this is the result, a very different shawl than the one I had before blocking! I love the difference, I love how the edging looks much more open and with definition, I loved the ritual of blocking (every single bit of it) and I can’t wait to do it all over again with other projects!
