I love Princess Pea’s 1 x 1 rib so was inspired to create this little number. I used 2 strands of 8 ply held together and did the first few rows in Moda Vera Jazz. The roses are pretty simple:
ROSE 4mm hook
Row 1: 26 chain (or add 4 chain for each extra leaf)
Row 2: 1 dc into first chain, miss 1 ch, 6 tr into next dc repeat from * * to end, 1 dc into last dc.
BUD 3mm hook
Row 1: 26 chain
Row 2: 1 dc into each chain, turn
Row 3: 1 dc into first chain, miss 1 ch, 5 tr into next dc repeat from * * to end, 1 dc into last dc.

With right side facing roll up Rose strip from left to right away from you (clockwise)
with right side facing, roll up Rosebud strip from left to right towards you (anti-clockwise)
Catch cast on stitches with ends of yarn and sew to cosy
