Notes

Started this one as the Jervaulx socks, but the pattern was just getting lost in the yarn. So was a simpler cabled pattern, so switched back to tried and tested Garter Rib.

The name of these socks isn’t derived from the colour of the yarn, but because of what happened to them at the second day of the Sussex v Durham County Championship cricket match at Hove. (The ground is very near the sea…)
