Notes

Leave it to Nick to cheer me up! I have been starting and stopping and getting frustrated with projects for a couple of weeks lately. Can’t quite settle on anything. This yarn was supposed to be another SYES but the way the yarn is dyed the runs of colour are too short and it was looking very …. not right. This project though… it looks perfect. I am LOVING how the colours are pooling and KNOW I am going to love wearing it.

Nick, of course my Nick, is taking all the credit and is tickled by a pattern with his name.

Long driving trip this weekend so I’m sure I’ll have progress to show off on Monday :)

Feb 26 - my very first provisional cast-on.
Feb 29 - Knit like mad on the drive too and from Great Wolf Lodge in order to NOT get dizzy from Mr. Ed’s driving!
March 16 - finished cowl. Did Lucy Neatby’s Modified Conventional Bind-Off but I think I was stressed b/c it didn’t come out quite as stretchy as it usually does. Just have to make the icord now.
March 21 - icord knit and photos taken. Nick is officially done! Though now Nicholas thinks I need to go shopping and get some better clothes…apparently it “doens’t look right with gym clothes”!!??
