Started w 4mm needles but guage was a bit loose. 3.75mm seems to be working better. Cashmerino is not quite the right weight, but the COLOUR is perfect!

July 13 - coming along. Pattern is nice but I liked the yarn MUCH better in the skein. Don’t really love how it’s knitting up :( I do think I’ll like it when I get to the final wedge and can do the solid blue. I have a feeling that’s when it will all come together!

July 21 -final wedge, changed to 4mm w the Cashmerino
(New Marblz needles!). Nearly used all of the Alegria…actually cut it short about 4 rows so I could save 5g for a square on Cozy Memories Blanket

The larger needle and the heavier weight yarn (DK vs fingering) makes the blue section seem HUGE and I definitely ended up with WAY more stitches than I should have.

Blocking - this is a BIG shawl. Wingspan is 85 inches, depth is 15 inches. The Cashmerino BLED like crazy and now the white is tinged blue. Not the end of the world but I preferred the stronger contrast when the white was proper white :(
