Notes

2/26 - I CO 56 stitches last week and I’m using one 9” circular needle instead of two needles. I have tried to knit socks many, many times before using different techniques (toe up, on a loom, two circular needles, double pointed needles, etc) and this has been the only time that I’ve successfully completed a sock. I’m following advice from a SpringersYarnNook’s series of videos on YouTube which have been very helpful. This sock knit up quickly and I’m looking forward to casting on and finishing the second sock. The only reason the first sock took a full week was because I was sneaking a row or two in at a time between classes and homework.

2/27 - CO 2nd sock and knit about 3 inches of cuff.

3/1 - Turned heel on 2nd sock. I suspect I’m going to run out of yarn. Ugh. I just knew I should have made the cuffs shorter. sigh Looks like I’m going to have to try to find more of this yarn. Edit: on my way home from class I ducked into Joann’s and bought another skein of yarn today.

3/5 - Finished! Photos to follow.
