Making my mom a pair of DK socks. First time using DK for socks!

CO 8, Turkish cast-on.
Change toe color when 22 sts on needles, plus 2 more rounds.
44 sts for rest of sock.

Do FLK heel on row 44.

You will have 1 st on each side, 7 ts stitches on each side, and 6 center stitches.
When done, cut heel yarn and slip sts purl wise on one needle only to bring back to same side as blue.

Knit for 3” in blue.
Twisted 1x1 rib in yellow, 1.5”
