I added an extra 8 stitches for 2 more inches width; cast on 106 with larger needles (10)

I’m typically a medium, but I’m making the large size because I like tunic length tops. I knit to 19.5 inches before starting garter section.

I added 8 rows of garter section because 31 came up an inch short so it came to 39 rows before neck hole. (I added stitch markers somewhere around row 38)

I’m making this poncho in one piece. So after finishing row 39, I knit 35, sm, bo 36, sm, knit 35.

Next row, I knit 35, sm, co 36, sm, knit 35

Then continue in garter stitch for another 39 rows, knit for 19.5 inches….

I added an extra 3 inches to the back panel and an extra inch to the collar

Picked up 214 sts along the sides for side ribbing with smaller needles (9)
