A pillow case for my nephew, using the pattern “OpArt” and switching the colours for the other side.

Notes:

• Using 4mm circular needle

• German twisted cast on, long tail

• Knitting this in stockinette stitch, not garter like in the original pattern

• Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off

• I used one ball of yarn of both colours plus a bit from the second for the bind off and stitching the pieces together. In other words, I ran out of yarn after 20cm of binding off in both pieces.

• The pieces were on a light soap water for one day, rinse water for second day (a bit too long, but I had work etc. :D )

• blocked the pieces about 3434cm

• stitched the pieces together with a red yarn, you can see it from the grey side.
