Reached the point to separate sleeves and body but would like some more depth in the raglans so am going to knit a few extra rows to get the raglan depth to the M2 size before separating for body and sleeves.

Knit extra rows and did one extra set of increases to get raglan’s to be 9”. So now the size is somewhere between S and M1.

Separated body and sleeves a few days ago, need to get a proper photo. Pretty relaxing and meditative knitting on the body now.

Finished cables and moss and check stitches on body, started bottom hem ribbing. Decided to not make it a split hem but just end with 1x1 ribbing on 3.75mm needles. Had to re-calculate stitch count and how many increases to do since I had changed my body stitch count to be in between a S and M1 size. Increased 14 stitches using m1L, went from 186 body stitches to 200.

Finished 1st sleeve started 2nd. Decided to knit the sleeves flat since I’ve never done that before. Started knitting the m1 size but decreased more sts to reach the s size before the ribbing. Knit sleeve to 13inches then knit 3inches ribbing, then tubular bind off.

Very close to finishing second sleeve but ran out of yarn, more on the way…

Had to wait for more yarn to arrive and re-knit the sleeve cuffs twice but sleeves are seamed and sweater is finally blocking now!

In love with the texture and the navy color!

-no split hem
-knit sleeves flat then seamed
-knit the yoke and body in a size in between S and M1
-knit sleeves in M1 size
