Notes

Picked up a couple skeins of this 100% silk, organic tape yarn to swatch with and thought it would be a great sub for any pattern calling for a linen-tape yarn. This 100% silk yarn is soft and has a little bit of spring to it so makes it easier to work with than cotton or linen.

29-07-2016

After starting the body on 5.5mm needles I decided to frog it after knitting a few inches of the fabric and switch to 6mm needles. CO for the xs size in stars is small and am going to make the arms in a larger size.

04-08-2016

Starting on sleeve one, picked up 40 sts (as called for the size M). Did the body in XS size, then separated the front and back and did the S size and then sleeves are now going to be the M size.

10-08-2016

Knit the sleeves to 14inches instead of 11inches as suggested by the pattern so that the top could be long-sleeved. Picked up sts for the collar and knit 2 rows then bound-off Knit wise to give the collar a little more shaping than the pattern called for.
