I thought the construction of the increase for the heel and how the stitches were removed was very nice but tedious. I got very irritated with that section because all of the purling seemed to take for ever.

But, it could also have been because I felt like I was knitting forever at that point anyway since it was a man sized sock.

Hopefully they fit FIL and if not, he can send them back because they fit DH!
