The yarn is gorgeous, really soft, squishy and a joy to knit with. Plus I love the marled colour.

The pattern is well written and straightforward with the exception of the thumb gusset, which is wrong. Knitting it to the letter will give you 20 stitches within the gusset as opposed to the required 18. The pattern says to increase twice into a stitch on either side so I just increased once into the stitches, so that I had the 18. However, then there weren’t enough stitches across the row so I had to do a spot of increasing to get me back on track.

Sounds a little confusing but it worked out well in the end and now I have a pair of lovely, well fitting, mitts!
