Notes

Truth be told Marin began as a bit of a brain ache of a project, certainly not one to do at the end of the day, or after a glass of wine! But once I got into the rhythm of the pattern I could hardly put the thing down. I love the copious amount of interest this pattern provides. Cabling, wrapping and turning, the edging pattern itself .. life is never boring with Marin.

I have to agree with other Ravelers about the lack of row counts, it certainly would have been quite welcome. However if you are careful over the pattern edging, it isn’t such a big deal. Some of the instructions were a little on the unclear side for me but again, the forum put me straight and it was comforting to know I wasn’t the only one in trouble!

As for the yarn, oh my word I am in love with this stuff. It has such a beautiful drape and knitting with it is pure and utter joy. Marin, coupled with the merino light is pretty much a match made in heaven, I really can’t imagine a nicer thing to knit with just one skein.
