Don’t think it’s acceptable.

2/7/11 - re-blocking. maybe that will fix it.
2/9/11 - blocking has made it a bit better. seamed. I think it looks OK.
9/21/11 - TKGA MK day: seam is NOT ok - my seam is off one row, and it’s also not blocked square, so I’m going to rip out the seam and see if they need to be re-knit, and then do the seam better.
8/17/12 - re-knit the pieces and seamed. Looks better.
3/22/13 - re-seamed for resubmit…blocking…

3/29/11 - blocking…
4/11 - seamed. looks good.
9/21/11 TKGA MK day: I don’t know what I did with this swatch! My seam is not centered and the ratio of stitches isn’t consistent - I don’t know how I screwed this one up! I shouldn’t need to reknit the swatches, just rip out the seam and PAY ATTENTION when I do it this time!! :-)
8/17/12 - re-doing the seam…

Using knit side twisted decreases on this one.
9/26 - blocking third attempt. Looks better.

Swatch 11: Twisted (Full Fashioned) Decreases
9/8/12 - wasn’t sure how to work the decreases while following the directions, but I think the beginning directions of RS only decreases needs to be ignored, since later it says you can work the decreases on either the WS or the RS.
Using WS twisted decreases on this one.

Swatch 12: CDD

10/2 - blocking
10/12 - re-blocking
looks good.
10/16/12 - need to re-block again, I can’t get the swatch to stay square. I think I need to just spritz it in the areas it’s not staying square (the middle mostly).
looks better.
3/22/13 - re-blocking for resubmit. Rewrote pattern.

10/23- knitting…
have the first two buttonholes done - did a yarnover buttonhole on the bottom, and a tulips buttonhole in the middle (horizontal).
10/30/12 - blocking. Did a ‘slide’ buttonhole (2 rows) for vertical.
11/4/12 - reknitting. Don’t like my rib, and I didn’t measure the buttonholes from center to center. Oops!
…alright, this one looks better, I think.

10/20 - blocking. Not sure if it’s good enough.
10/21 - I think it looks good.
10/23- Gracie (my cat) got a hold of it, but I was able to rescue it before she did any damage (she was after the yarn tails on it!) Whew - that was a close one! Note to self - always put the swatches where a tenacious kitten can’t get to them!!
3/22/13 - starting to re-knit for resubmit.
3/26/13 - didn’t like my re-knit, so I’m knitting it AGAIN, this time with my new ChiaoGoo needles in size 6. Looks much better - blocking.
