I need a project for a craft night that I’m attending tonight—and I need a hat so here we go. :) I’m a little afraid of all of the cabling I’m going to have to do, at least it’s a small project.

Knitted the whole thing with 5mm needles.

All done, I love the look of the cables but I wish it was longer — it’s a little beanie-like at the moment. I haven’t blocked it yet though so hopefully it will stretch. I should have added more ribbing methinks. That and repeat the first couple of rows of the main body of the hat. If I make it again I’ll do both.

I unraveled the cast on and added length to the ribbing. I’ll wear this hat more often if it covers my ears. I think I will make it long enough so it folds up.
