October 16 - What timing! Just an hour after we bought this yarn we found out that Bradley’s niece was going into labour… Nothing like waiting until the last minute to start knitting!!

Oct 17 - Provisional cast on for sleeves and short rows.
Oct 22 - Tried a 3 needle bind-off, which left holes at each reduction point. Not sure what I want to do about that… might just stitch up the holes.

(later…) Nope, stitching the holes didn’t look nice enough so I bound off the sleeves as they were. I’ll have to sew the full seam.

Dec 10 - Wow, this took longer than I thought – just because I really don’t like seaming. I guess it’ll be a Christmas gift now. It’s so cute!

Turns out that after blocking the bottom didn’t really curl so I didn’t bother adding anything to it. Also, I messed up on the sleeves and didn’t add on enough stitches so I added cuffs. I like! I picked up 28 stitches and knitted 8 rows of ribbing for them.
