I think this is going to be a great everyday cardigan. Going to follow the pattern, which means I’m going to seam (yuk :). I think I’d like a shorter collar.

Swatching: 5mm: 18 stitches & 28 rows = 3.75” x 4”
So probably 20 stitches & 28 rows = gauge
I don’t think I want to go up a needle size because the stitch would look too loose with this yarn. I think I will knit a size larger.

Whoops, didn’t see to cast on with the smaller needle. Going 5mm for the body. :)

Ribbing: 29 rows
Decreases: started at end of 4th repeat then 2 stitches every 12 rows, 5 more times

Things have slowed down over the past couple of months because of bad tendonitis. Argh. It’s putting a damper on this knitting hobby of mine. I just take lots of time off in between short bouts of knitting. Today I will be done the second front panel—only sleeves, collar and button band to go.

Ordered 3 more skeins of yarn.

Used 4mm for collar and button band.

I made 2 stitch button holes but they are too small—I’m tearing out and making them into 3 stitch ones
