I’m making a pair of boots to go with the hoodie jacket. I chose this pattern because the shape of the stitches in the leg rows resembles the bands of colour in the hoodie.
I didn’t follow the pattern exactly.
I left out the slipstitch row around the sole because the colours didn’t join up neatly at the end of the row when I did it. I didn’t always join in the first chain, often in the first stitch when it was an sc row because I think it makes a neater join.
The yarn I used was a lot finer than the pattern recommends. It gives a less firm result but it’s ok.
One boot is finished except for a bow. I’m not sure if I will add them.
I hope to get the second boot finished tonight.
