I made about 8 rows and realised that the decrease effect wasn’t going away. so I undid my work all the way back to before the first mesh row (where it all goes wrong) and worked from the chart instead of the notes. The problem was that the notes say to leave two stitches in between the 3 chain, whereas it should only be one, as the chart shows clearly.
So every time the mesh rows were worked a lot of stitches would be disappearing.
Luckily the mohair yarn came undone more easily that I’d expected.
Its also given me the chance to incorporate from the beginning, some different mohair yarns that i found in my stash. So probably a good outcome for the end result .

I am really enjoying this project and coveting the wrap for myself. It feels wonderful, light, soft and so warm. Maybe one day Inwill make one for me. I love mohair and have collected quite a few yarns over the years. This is a lovely way to use them.

Nearly finished. I just have the ends to weave in and I may make some thin tassels.
I made a sc crochet edge along the sides in a colour that matched the edge of the length.
I like it.
I think Kathy will like it too.
I did a row of doc across the sc row at the ends. Wispy fringe added. All done.

I love this wrap so much that I have started one for myself.
