I really enjoyed making this girl. I stayed fairly close to the original, just changed the hair colour and omitted the buns.
I was very happy with the result and would definitely use this pattern again.
It’s probably better for an experienced crocheted. Certainly not a step by step pattern for beginners.
The girl and numeral are glued onto a felt card shape. The words are stitched with needle and thread.
The numeral is a straight length of sc with some simple shaping added at each end.
