Notes

Blossom refuses to wear slippers but she will wear ballet shoes so I am making ballet slippers with a sheepskin sole to keep her little feet warm.
I used the patterns to help me get the shape, stitch count and trim, adjusting to fit the soles.
I made the soles myself from sheepskin off cuts and punched holes around the edges with my trusty leather punch.
I always use synthetic yarn to make the edging row because it is stronger than wool, for walking on. I used the 3mm hook for this.
Then I changed to the 3.5mm hook and used wool for the rest of the slipper.
I am pleased with how the first one has turned out. If it fits and stays on as it is, I will leave it without a strap.

Very quick project.
I finished the second slipper before breakfast.
Now Imjust need to see how it fits when Blossom wakes up.

60 holes in sole=60 stitches.
Joining to sole sc around with synthetic yarn
2nd row sc in blo.
Row 3 and 4 sc in both loops.
Row 5: sc 15, then (sc decrease, sc) 10 times.
Row 6: change colour, sc 13, ( skip 2, dc cluster of 6) 7 times.
Row 7:change colour, sc 13 then sc in space before clusters, between each cluster and after, then sc to end. Fasten off.
