Front sides of the pillows are crocheted, but the back sides are made from a cotton fabrics. I have sewed front and back sides together using Brother sewing mashine, and filled letters with polisterol granules.
In the result - pillows are very light and crunchy. And it is easy to wash them in a wash mashine :-)
