Started this sweater in 2008 before Christmas, after taking a long hiatus from knitting. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with it for YEARS, since it always got put on the back burner while I finished other more appealing projects. Today I decided it was time to say good-bye, because the sweater no longer appeals to me. Life is too short to knit something I’m not going to wear. My kids helped me unravel it all today onto the swift, and put it in the bath to unkink the yarn. Hopefully this yummy alpaca blend will find new life in another pattern.
