mods:
6 garter rounds instead of rolled stockinette hems
sleeve length 50cm
body length hem to armhole 46cm
body length hem to shoulder 70cm
worked buttonband and buttonhole band with the body: didn´t BO 7 sts in the middle of the front but worked them in garter and picked up 7 sts from purl bumps on the back of these sts one row below, worked 3 button holes (k2, k2tog, yo, k3) in row 5 and every following 8th row
neckbands: section 3: worked 6 garter rows, 4th buttonhole in row 3, BO knitwise in row 7. section 2: worked an insert, CO 6 sts, worked stockinette and increased every RS and beginning and end of row until 34 sts on needle. picked up purl bumps on garter neck of section 3 starting 20 sts from left front edge and ended 20 sts from right front edge and placed 34 sts of insert betweeen them. k3, w&t, p40, w&t, k42, w&t, p44, w&t, k46, w&t, p48, w&t, k49, w&t, p50, w&t, k51, w&t, p52 w&t, k to 4 sts after beginning of back neck, w&t, k to 4sts after beginning of back neck, w&t, k to 4sts after last w&t, w&t, k to 4sts after last w&t, w&t repeat once, 3 garter ridges worked. break yarn. attach yarn for section 1 in the middle of back neck and knit a complete round, then work in ribbing for 10 rounds, start working short rows in row 5 to create a less bulky neck edge, please see photo.
