Yardage is approximate. Pattern improvised when I couldn’t find something I liked.

Provisional CO 88 sts with US 8, k around in CC. Purl 3 rounds.

Colorwork from the palm of the Marie Curie mitts; one full repeat with MC as MC and CC as CC; knit first two rows again and then switch to MC as CC and CC as MC and knit four full repeats. Knit first two rows again and switch back; knit one full repeat and first two rows. Knit one round with CC, purl three rounds with CC.

Switch to US 6 for the guts.

Knit with MC until the guts are as long as the colorwork, graft ends together with guts on the inside (obvi).
