The most useful discovery I’ve made with this project is that the number of stitches you’re purling on each side of the spine on the WS rows is equal to the row number +1.

For example: on row 74, you k2, p75, p1, p75, k2.

This is fantastic for making sure you didn’t mess up your stitch count by missing any yarn-overs which I totally never do.

Stopping at six total repeats on chart 1 (instead of the pattern’s prescribed seven) because I’m thinking my yarn is going to run out.
