Reverse-engineering the stitch pattern by looking at pictures, and making these toe-up. Might incorporate the heel from the SM10 warmup pattern DTOMT, haven’t decided yet.

17 rib sections on the foot; gonna do the same on the leg and call it a sock.

Turned the second heel and started on the legs. They’re a wee bit loose on me, so hopefully will fit one of my friends :)

Well, I’m not running out of yarn any time soon, so after 48 leg rows I started adding two consecutive lifted increases in the center of the back of the leg (probably every 3 repeats?). Who knows, maybe I’ll have enough to make these into knee socks.
