Made this cow blanket by just looking at a few images of other cow blanket patterns. The hair at the top of the head and the end of the tail is made up of (ch 3, dc in 3rd ch from hook) repeated loops.

Juanita was thrilled with the finished blanket and said it turned out so much more amazing than she had even expected. She loved the textured stitch I used as opposed to the plain stitching she had seen on other similar blankets.
