Ok, can I say how much I love this sweater? And look, so many styling options!! The yarn and the pattern were both wonderful. I did make some mods to accommodate for my long-waisted-pear-shaped self. I wanted the top to skim the top of my hips, but have a little negative ease across the bust. So, I:

• CO for the 36” size
• Worked the waist-shaping decreases 7x, every 4 rows - 96sts. This left me with a shorter peplum than called for in the pattern, allowing me to avoid the hem drawing attention to my widest point - ick. Also, it put the waist measurement between the pattern’s sizes 34 & 36 which defined my waist without being tight.
• Worked fewer increases to the bust - 3x every 24 rows. This put me at the measurements for pattern size 36 and gave me 2” of negative ease across the bust.

The linen is slightly stretchy, so I wasn’t worried about all the negative ease at the bust. It also drapes beautifully while showcasing the lovely lace borders and sleeves.
