Using the sweet skein 2018 advent.

What a great project and I’m so pleased with the final outcome.

I love a simple project like this, I was able to read 2 books on my kindle while knitting this and if I was ever stuck on a long online meeting for work, it was ideal for sneaking in a few rows while participating.

I arranged the yarn in what I felt was a pleasing order, and it really makes me happy just looking at it! I was inspired by Gingergooseberry’s version: hers is so delightful.

I think it would be great to make this blanket while holding 2 strands together to make it a bit thicker, or even hold a strand of laceweight mohair together with the sock yarn to make a fuzzy blanket. Maybe next time.
