25th: Can’t decide between oatmeal and copper. I’ve just made something in orange, so it should be oatmeal. I can’t seem to stop using orange though -
so I will use both colours! which means it has to be a cardigan…

My gauge in this yarn is 22st instead of 20, so I’m going to do size M.

30th: At the waist. I didn’t do waist shaping. I’m going to do just one hip increase instead - to get a straight/slightly A-line shape.
As usual, I’m starting a sleeve now to check the body fit/length properly.
Also as usual (I like looser sleeves) I picked up an extra sleeve stitch each side of the marker and missed out the first decrease.

2nd Nov: Starting bottom ribbing.
This is such a lovely yarn for the bargain price, and it gives great stitch definition. It’s quite woolly, so could have a very slight itch factor, but this is a cardigan to go over things, so it’s ideal.

6th Nov: All knitting part done. I did tubular bind off around the bottom of the body and sleeves. I still need to block and sew ends in.

7th: Blocking.
12th: Finally dry, and I have sewn the ends in & chosen and sewn on the buttons (ceramic glazed buttons from the textile garden). I suppose the sleeves are a tad long after blocking, but I love it!
