29th Dec 2015: Update

So, apparently I don’t wear ponchos (who knew?), but I love all the design elements of this and I also love the yarn - so I decided over xmas to rip back and make it into a jumper, to ensure that I would definitely wear it…
I thought it was worth a try - and it’s working so far.

9th Jan 2016: All done (well, maybe it needs properly blocking) - very comfy - I’m very happy with it :)))

Actually, Isabell was way ahead of me and has a sweater ‘brother’ pattern to Indigo Frost already in the testing phase - so maybe I should have just waited ha ha! But I sort of enjoyed the process, so it was worth it.

.

The colour of this yarn reminds me of beautiful little forget-me-not flowers.

Sept 30th 2015: Testing for the lovely Isabell - Thank you :)
Quick, interesting knit and all-round great pattern - easy to follow. (I missed the eyelets around the neck because I wasn’t paying attention).
I added a fourth colour instead of repeating colour 1. I was going for a gradient effect but it didn’t really happen.
9th Oct: blocking.
11th Oct: ends sewn in - finished! :)
I did it a bit shorter as I’m short, but I think I may make it longer after seeing photos (& I have enough yarn left).
Maybe even convert it into a jumper.

.

.

note to self: The original poncho used 610yards of main colour.
