Stitch holders galore!

Like the cable trick for twisting the stitches over the gap but it seems stitch gap will still do entirely its own thing regardless of preventative measures - judicious darning here I come! (And the c2f is more effective than c2b).

The 4 mm pin is for casting off

The sizing on this pattern is very generous, particularly given that it’s a women’s pattern. I couldn’t get the mitten cap to work at all; it came out too short even my wee paw and kind of squidgy and I couldn’t get the remaining stitches to draw through without leaving a fat wadge with a gurt hole so I tried a three-needle bind off, which was rather ugly. I gave up and went to another pattern that I’ve already worked and made the tops based on that mitten top, scaling up to 48 stitches. Much better but just wish I didn’t have to work THREE mitten caps in all!

I used a circular needle for all the mitten caps as I found it much easier than the dpns.

So many ends to weave in! :(

I don’t know how one glove came out a whole 2 g bigger than the other.
