LOST! (sad…)

1/22- no mods. unless you count an extra row for my thumbs. but i don’t. this continues my current obsession with cables. i love this hairy yarn. it wasn’t too splitty, especially considering that it’s loosely spun singles. the pattern is great.

i’m calling these mirasol’s because a) i’m not really a twilight person… and b) i was reading chalice while knitting the first one. the second one was knit while watching the inauguration. i could call them michelle’s inauguration mittens, cuz they are practically the same color as michelle obama’s really beautiful wool lace dress… yesh, i like that better.

i’m not much of a mitten wearing person, and i take these off every time my opposable thumbs are called into action, but they are great hand warmers, so i don’t mind.

1/21- done. pics soon. loving these.

1/17-yeah, i never got the allure of magic loop. it’s dpns for me, baby!

i’m loving the thought of these guys in this negative weather.

one down, one to go.
