10/14- x-mas/birthday present for brother-in-law-to-be. cast on.

10/17- one finished, ends woven in, etc. cast on for no. 2. made mr. man try on the first one, and it fits him great. hurrah!

10/22- finished within minutes of my train stop on the way home! ends woven in, etc. this yarn has been bleeding like crazy. my fingertips are pink, and my brittany dpn’s, made of pine, and previously very pale pine-ish colored, are now pink. soaking them in woolite over night. fabulously satisfying quit knit, though. hope he likes them.

10/23- four rinses, and the water was still pale pink. i’m raising the white flag and blocking them now. who knows, there’s a little bit before christmas, i may go for another round between now and then. but in the mean time they are blocking.
