i can’t tell if there’s a pattern too similar for me to post this. part of the problem is that the stitch is not named in the stitch dictionary i took it from. which makes it really hard to search for. it’s kind of like mistake rib, or broken rib, or cartridge rib, but it isn’t quite any of those.

BUT! pattern notes:

cast on 200. i use cable cast on. because i always use cable cast on. because i love it. it’s sturdy and flexible and attractive. everything i could ever want.

row 1: p2, k1, p2, k3
row 2: p6, k1, p1

repeat ad infinitum. until you hit a height you like, or you run out of yarn. whatevs.
