i don’t know if you can tell simply by the amounts of pictures i have in various places, but i love this hat. majorly. i wear it all the time, as it is soft and warm, and i love the color combo. feminine and vibrant without being overly pink.

i actually knit this top down because i wasn’t sure if i’d have enough yarn, and i figured i could just stop at a good point whenever i ran out of the contrasting color and go crazy with the ribbing. but i didn’t run out!

i did five repeats of the pattern instead of eight because i wasn’t going for a beret (though if i get my hands on some appropriately colored sock yarns, i do see this in my future.).

i still need to weave in ends, and i think this one would really be helped by some blocking.
