there was still yarn leftover from my rain on brick/ships and seasides cowl, so i thought i’d make myself some complimentary toasts. inverted my colors to use the yarns in accordance with the amount i have left, and modified the stripe sequence to suit a much smaller object. i also knit a few rows flat and then rejoined in the round to create a thumbhole in case i want more hand coverage.

i cut the striping from ships & seaside approx. in half.

these knit up very quickly. maybe four evenings of knitting, total. but i did two projects in between mitts.
