I’m using a slightly larger needle as the gauge stated on the wool is slightly smaller than called for in the pattern. I was going to make something else with this wool but that just wasn’t going to work - gauge was all wrong.

I’m making this in black, to keep me warm! (I have some lovely rose pink in the same wool - there’s a chance I might put a line or two of it over the ribbing… we’ll see). :)

I changed the neck - it was supposed to be a turtle neck and I decided I wanted a hood - so I used the sock toe hood suggested elsewhere for the BSJ, and it worked well! I did the last couple of rows of the hood as K2P2 ribbing, just for stability’s sake.

I was fairly sure when making this that it would be frogged, but it’s not going to be - it’s going to be used, a LOT, I think!
