This is what happens when one does a silly thing…

I have promised PhD student 1 a fish hat, if her survey gets 5k responses. (Don’t look at me like that - she had over 3K when I made the promise and many more to come. She’ll get a hat. Purple).

I made this promise, of course, in a group chat with PhD students - so there are orders for two others (in blue). The milestones for those have not been set but the wool has arrived so the hats can be ready in good time.

I am ignoring the threats to wear these to graduation ceremonies as ‘not my problem’. At all.

This is obviously a follow on from the shawls/scarves I made for my PhD students when I left last place of employment….
