I like this much more now that it’s done than I thought I would - the wool blocks beautifully! (And NiceMan stands beautifully, don’t you think? Perfect shawl model).

I can see the pattern becoming almost as much a favourite as Old Shale, though I like Old shale better, I think….

One of my students kindly figured out that there were over 10K stitches in the border - but I think it was worth it (again, it looks much better blocked than I thought it would!).
