27 6 15 - Blocking! (The colour on the second photo is much closer to the real colour; it’s very, very wet in the blocking photos).

This took about 150gm of wool - I’ll weigh the shawl properly once it’s blocked, but it took about a skein and a half.

This is, in theory, sock yarn but I think it’s actually a bit heavier than that.

Saying that, it’s lovely and cosy - this will be a very warm (and heavy!) shawl!

It is a warm and cosy shawl!

It’s 34 inches down the front - meaning tip to tip it’s just over 64 inches.

The depth at the middle back is about 24 inches.
