I need a birthday present and started this yesterday night. Love the two colors together! As a side effect this will also be my project for the colorwork KAL that started in September.

Ok, I just saw I have been too fast. The KAL starts in October, lol. Never mind. The present must be done by October, I’ll do something else for the KAL.

I frogged the whole thing two days ago, did not like the stripes, and some of my center stitches were not so neat. Restarted and love it much better now! Am good on the way, maybe one more pattern repeat before the border.

Shawl body done, will tackle the border during the weekend. Now just to think about something to do about that…

Working on the border now. It is a sideways knit-on border with ruffles, very girly. I can never believe that those shawl borders are so long.
